The Divine Staff an Staff Divine
The “Ouas” is a high staff, it has an stylised shape of the head of an animal on top, it was an exclusively attribute of royalty, in the hand of the gods became a symbol of divine power. It is interesting to note that a pharaoh was not allowed lay down it on the floor. Only the male deities and a pharaoh seem to carry the “Ouas”. La Canne objet d’ Art.1982 C.Dike Pag: 23
