Silver Mistletoe Dress Cane, France ca. 1900

This well-proportioned silver crook handle fashioned in a classic shape with a straight and vertical neck is beautifully decorated with a hand chased composition of mistletoe-leaf and fruit lose in the wind. 

The silver handle is 10 cm high x 9 cm to the side, it is personalized with the initials of it first owner and authenticated with two tiny French hallmarks, it comes on top of a palm wood-shaft carved to imitate stepped bamboo and is finishing with a replaced bimetal ferrule, this cane is a one-of-a-kind work of art where function meets beauty, a very wearable cane.
