Napoleon III Flowers-composition Walking stick. France, ca 1880

This exquisite Napoleon III hook handle is finished with high skills in a beautiful and practical design representing branches of flowers and stylized acanthus leaves on a Neoclassical composition. It measures 10 cm to the side x 9 cm high. It is marked TALLOIS PARIS by its silversmith makers-marks and exhibits the initials A. R. from the previous owner, it is on top of a beautiful sound snakewood shaft and finished with a bimetal ferrule. The O.L. is 89 cm and without chips or cracks on the metal, only a few signs of use, the condition is excellent. It is still a very wearable cane.

In terms of design, the handlebar hook is considered optimal, easy to carry in the hands, it can always be hooked on the fingers and not let it fall, and above all, it can be easily hung from the other arm while keeping your hands busy.
